Loan Processing

Your loan application will be processed within the same business day; however, home equity loans and mortgages require additional processing time.

Upon approval, you will be notified by an American Heritage representative to make the necessary arrangements. If your loan is denied or a counter offer approval is given, a notice will be issued indicating the reason(s) for this action. Should you wish to appeal a denial, there is a special review process available.

Your loan application is evaluated on the following factors: gross income, current and past credit history, outstanding debt, employment history, and collateral.

You can receive a 1/4 point discount on your consumer loan rate when you choose to make your loan payment via payroll deduction or automatic payment from an American Heritage Federal Credit Union account.
