American Heritage ATM Card
Your American Heritage ATM Card provides easy access to cash from your checking account, and can be used to purchase goods and services at any merchant that accepts an ATM card. You can withdraw or spend as much as you have in your American Heritage checking account, make deposits and check your account balance.
You can also protect your transactions by registering your ATM Card with American Heritage Payment Card Protection.
How to use your American Heritage ATM Card
Visit any American Heritage ATM machine, or an affiliated NYCE credit union ATM machine, and enter your Personal Identification Number (PIN). The ATM machine will provide a receipt. Most ATM machines are accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
American Heritage members have unlimited FREE access to AMHFCU ATM machines. Members have 10 free uses of a non-AMHFCU ATM machine per month; members who use non-AMHFCU ATM machines more than 10 times are charged a $1 service fee for use over 10 times.
For purchases, provide your ATM card to the merchant, who will process the transaction. Ask for a receipt if the merchant doesn't immediately provide one.
American Heritage ATM Card or Independence Debit Card?
American Heritage also offers an Independence Debit Card, which acts just like an ATM card but has the added convenience of use with merchants who honor MasterCard and require a signature to complete a transaction. Independence Check Cards also earn ScoreCard Reward points redeemable for valuable travel vouchers and merchandise.
